In December 2015, Grace Advisory GmbH sponsored a SolarWave Good Project for a water purification system installed at SOS Children’s Village in Dar es Salaam. Since 2017, Grace Impact gGmbH has assumed responsibility for this Good Water Project. The SOS Children’s Village accommodates 124 children in 13 family houses. The village has a school and a kindergarten and is supported by a staff of 25.
Grace Impact will continue to support the maintenance and operation of this system since the SOS Children’s Village in Tanzania still lacks a sufficient budget to cover all operating and maintenance costs. In addition, Dinese Hannewald has personally become a sponsor of Amos, a young boy she met during her visit to the SOS Children’s Village in September 2016.
